Gender Pay Gap
GENDER PAY GAP REPORT 2023
As a UK employer with over 250 employees, Verallia UK Limited is required by law to publish data about its gender pay gap, which as a fair and progressive employer we welcome.
We believe it is important for all companies to be transparent about pay, as by doing so progress will continue to be made in bridging the pay gap that continues to exist in the UK today.
At Verallia UK Limited we are aware that people are fundamental to our success and we are dedicated to promoting equality and diversity throughout our organisation.
As a whole the Verallia Group continues to become more diverse and inclusive and has changed it’s hiring practices to ensure a gender-diverse set of candidates and offers professional development in the form of mentorship aimed at women in the group, with the goal of ensuring that 35% of its Managers are women by 2025. With this in mind, we will continue to strive locally to create a more evenly gender balanced workforce in what is traditionally a male dominated industry.
With the National average hourly earnings at 14.3%* lower for women than men, we are delighted that our gender pay gap is significantly less than this at 4.7%, as of the snapshot date of the 5th April 2023. This is a substantial drop of 4.4% on the previous years reported figure, which shows a huge step forward at Verallia UK Limited in its endeavours to close the gender pay gap within its business.
I can confirm that the data contained in the gender pay gap report is accurate and has been reached using the mechanisms that are set out in the gender pay gap reporting legislation.Sara Tucker
