Verallia Announces Golden Ticket Winner

Verallia (formerly Allied Glass) are delighted to announce the winner of its 2021 Golden Ticket Competition, the fantastic team at the Sliabh Liag Distillery, creators of some of the finest Irish whiskies, gin and vodka.

Launched at the Craft Distilling Expo in London last October, Verallia’s Golden Ticket Competition offers the lucky winner the opportunity to create their own bespoke bottle. This is a truly amazing prize where the successful applicant is given the opportunity to work with one of the Verallia team’s award-winning designers to go from the initial concept stage, developing a design which perfectly suits the brand to the manufacture stage of beautiful glass bottles with the project costs, including a set of mould equipment, being completely free of charge.

Nolan Kane, Verallia’s Head of Emerging Brands, says:

“Craft distillers from all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, have supported our Golden Ticket Competition with over 150 tickets having been completed and returned. This is amazing and I would like to thank all those who entered.”

The winner was drawn in December by Verallia’s CEO, Alan Henderson, who said:

“As the craft distilling industry continues to take the UK by storm with gins, rums, vodkas and whiskies being created by creative entrepreneurs, Verallia has become a trusted supplier to this diverse and energetic industry thanks to our creative design which is supported by a commitment to flexible manufacturing, inspirational decoration and comprehensive customer support It is therefore a very exciting time for craft distilling and Allied Glass and we very much look forward to working with Rory Steel and his team, winners of our 2021 Golden Ticket competition.”
